Neurodivergent-Affirming Therapist in Suffolk & Online
Finding the right therapist is about more than qualifications or experience. It's about finding someone you feel comfortable talking to. Someone who listens without judgement, understands your experiences and creates a space where you can simply be yourself.
Inside the Therapy Room was built on that belief.
Whether you're navigating a recent diagnosis, exploring whether you might be neurodivergent or you're looking for support with OCD, anxiety or burnout, my aim is to help you better understand yourself with compassion, curiosity and acceptance.

Hi, I'm Paula
I'm an Integrative Therapist specialising in neurodivergent-affirming therapy for autistic and ADHD adults and those living with OCD.
Many of the people I work with have spent years feeling misunderstood, trying to fit into environments that weren't designed for the way their minds work or wondering why everyday life seems harder than it appears to be for everyone else.
Some come to me after receiving a diagnosis. Others are beginning to question whether they might be neurodivergent, while many simply know they've never quite felt like they fit in.
Whatever has brought you here, my aim is to create a space where you feel safe enough to slow down, explore your experiences and begin making sense of them without judgement.
I don't believe therapy is about fixing you. I believe it's about helping you understand yourself more deeply, recognise your strengths alongside your struggles and feel more confident being yourself.
As an Integrative Therapist, I tailor therapy to each individual rather than following a one-size-fits-all approach. Together, we'll work in a way that feels right for you, at a pace that feels comfortable.
My approach to therapy
Our deepest wounds are often formed in relationship, and it is within relationship that healing can begin.
That's why the relationship we build together is at the heart of my work.
Inside the Therapy Room is somewhere you don't need to have all the answers. You don't need to explain everything perfectly or worry about saying the wrong thing. You can bring your whole self, exactly as you are.
Together we'll explore what's happened, how it has shaped you and what you need now. We'll celebrate your strengths, make sense of the challenges you've faced and develop a greater understanding of the unique way your mind works.
Therapy isn't about changing who you are.
It's about helping you feel more at home in yourself.

Beyond the therapy room
Although my work is incredibly important to me, I also know the value of balance.
When I'm not working with clients, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, getting outdoors and making space for creativity. I find that art and creative expression are powerful ways to process emotions, slow down and reconnect with myself, and they're an important part of how I look after my own wellbeing.
Looking after myself helps me show up fully for the people I work with, and it's something I encourage my clients to prioritise too.

Is therapy right for you?
You don't need to have a diagnosis to benefit from therapy.
You don't need to know exactly what you want to talk about.
And you certainly don't need to have everything figured out before reaching out.
If you're looking for a warm, supportive space where you can better understand yourself and feel accepted exactly as you are, I'd love to hear from you.
